Thanks to a simple and innovative design, the D1200CD is extremely easy to use. The controls are arranged to follow the recording process from input to finished CD, and even the angle of the large backlit LCD can be adjusted for best viewing.

Every analog input uses high-performance balanced preamps. Two XLR inputs provide superb mic preamps and +48V phantom power. The S/P DIF digital input auto-converts incoming 48kHz and 32kHz data to 44.1kHz for recording.

Uncompressed audio with 16/24 bit recording and playback

Full featured mixer section

The D1200CD includes a 16-channel, 4-bus mixer with independent 3-band EQ (hi/lo shelving plus mid-peaking EQ) for input/playback on every channel. All Fader, Pan, EQ and Effect settings can be stored as one of 100 “snapshot” scenes per song!

The new Modeling Mode simplifies the setup process for guitarists and songwriters who want to get ideas down quickly: Just turn on Modeling Mode, choose Guitar, Bass or Mic, and the D1200 will auto-route effects to your input, assign the right modeling effects to 3 dedicated knobs for immediate control, and will even arm the first two tracks for recording!

 

Three independent effect processors (44-bit processing) provides up to 8 insert effects for individual effects, plus 2 master effects with separate channel send levels, and a final effect to polish off the mix with EQ, Compression/Limiting, etc. A Total of 384 effect Program locations ensure plenty of room for your own edits/tweaks and mixing needs!

2 GB partition on hard drive

2GB of the hard disk is allocated for a USB “drive”. This allows easy connection of the D1200 and your PC for transfer and backup of songs and effects, plus WAV file import/export for transferring your songs to computer-based applications or emailing files via the Internet.

Internal CDRW-1x8 burner

 

The “instant” user-installable CDRW-1x8 drive gives you the best, most economical way to backup/restore all of your data and create your own audio CDs.

Professional Syncing functions
