The tempo can be adjusted in a range of 40-208 beats/minute. The volume is also adjustable, allowing the unit to be used in any situation from private practice in small rooms to studio practices.
-Twelve reference pitches C4 -B4 for tuning Sound Out mode lets you produce twelve reference pitches (C4 -B4) from the Dynamic Speaker for tuning purposes. By adjusting the Calibration setting, you can adjust the pitch in 1 Hz steps around the modern pitch range centered at 440 Hz pitch (438-445 Hz) or the historical pitch range centered at 415 Hz (413-420 Hz). This makes it easy to adjust the pitch to the music you are playing.
-Find the tempo fast with the Tap function You can quickly detect and display the tempo any time by pressing the Tap button at regular intervals while you listen to a song. (Detection range: 40-208 beats/minute)
-Memory backup function Even when the power is turned off, the MA-30's memory backup function remembers your tempo, beat, calibration, and reference pitch settings. (However these settings will be initialized if the battery is replaced.)
-Large liquid crystal pendulum indicates the tempo A large liquid crystal pendulum marks the tempo with precision and excellent visibility. A guide display shows the width of the pendulum swing, providing not only audible but also visual indication of the tempo. There's even a convenient Mute switch for silent use.
-Approximately 250 hours of continuous use The MA-30 is designed for long battery life, allowing approximately 250 hours of continuous use (settings: tempo 120, 4 beats, zinc-carbon batteries).
