Recording with the

PXR4 Digital Recorder

 

In order to record and play back on the PXR4 you first need to know what some of the buttons and switches do. Then you will need to know a little bit of how do make a good recording. The following quick guide will hopefully guide you, step-by-step, through the process of recording using the internal microphone.

            Headphone jack                                     Volume control

This headphone jack is for stereo headphones using a standard mini stereo plug. The VOLUME (level) control is the knob on the front right next to this headphone jack and controls the volume to the headphones

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

        

                                     

Fast forward button - Use this to advance to the next song or to speed up a track that is playing.

Cursor  (up, down, left or right)

Dial (flashing in display - turn left or right)

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Input Select

MIC - I f you want to use the internal microphone - switch to MIC
LINE - If you want to record a stereo keyboard, stereo mic or any other stereo signal using a mini stereo plug - switch to LINE (you can then record two tracks at a time)
GUITAR -If you want to record an electric guitar, bass or microphone (with a 1/4"plug)  Switch to GUITAR
