KORG TRITON

Copying a program into the sequencer (with Effects)

Here is how to move a complete PROG (Program) on a Triton Workstation into one track of the sequencer so that it sounds like it does when you play it in Program mode. These instructions will set up your track, with effects into the sequencer.

This is a multi-step process.

While in SEQ mode, choose a track and:

  1. Select the desired track.
  2. Select the program (either by category or by bank)
  3. Press the MENU button, go to the Insert Effects (IFX) page and press the F8 key (OPEN). Change the program number to then program you want to copy from. Use the drop down menu and "Copy" the desired insert effects. (Or just check the "ALL" checkbox) Make sure you're copying the effects from the correct program.
  4. To hear the effects on your track you also need to make sure the output of the track is routed through the effects. Open the "Routing" tab at the bottom of the Insert Effects page. Instead of L/R change the output to IFX1 (if it is Insert Effect #1 that you are working with).
  5. Press the MENU button, go to the Master Effects (MFX) page and repeat the same sequence using the F8 "copy" command.

Congratulations!

You have just moved a Triton Program, including effects into the sequencer.

This function is included in the new 2.5 version of the OS that you can download free
