Eric Sands began his MI career in the mid 70’s at Gary Kessel Music in Queens, NY. During College he worked at E.E. Forbes Piano Co. in Birmingham, AL and Atlanta’s Rhythm City. Eric enjoyed a strong Enterprise sales career in the computer industry managing Fortune 500 Accounts as BellSouth, Home Depot, Coke Cola, Wachovia Bank and Cingular, until his lifelong passion for music and gear led him back to the MI industry and KORG USA.

Eric Sands has over twenty five years experience as a session guitarist/bassist and gigging musician. Eric’s original Progressive Rock band, “Man on Fire” is signed to 10T Records and features Eric on Fretless Bass and Guitar. The band’s current release, “Habitat” features Adrian Belew (David Bowie, King Crimson) sharing guitar duties. Eric has an extensive discography which includes numerous CD releases and appearances on shred guitar compilation CDs alongside Steve Vai, Ritchie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert, and others. He is an official Ibanez Guitar and Kubicki Bass endorser among others and has licensed original music to various record labels, MTV, syndicated television show soundtracks and video productions. Recent projects include “Virtual Strangers”, a world-wide cyber-band comprised mostly of conservatory musicians from around the globe.
