The Marshall Offset JTM45 Halfstack Reissue Limited Edition of one of the rarest Marshall amplifies ever made
These are sold out
Marshall Amplification, in England produced the special limited edition reissue of
the incredibly rare (only three were originally made) offset JTM45
half stack (model #2255HS). This reissue was available in very limited
quantities in the USA only
and is now sold out.
In 1962, three extremely rare offset chassis JTM45 heads were built, complete with matching offset 4x12 cabinets. To celebrate the new millennium, Marshall has painstakingly recreated this eye-catching set-up, from the hand wired, tag board circuit housed in an aluminum chassis all the way through to the original Silver Celestion Alnico speakers. They've even resurrected the original "coffin" logo. I asked Jim Marshall about this logo and he has no idea where the term coffin originated. "We got the logos from a case company, not a coffin company."
Only 300 of these unique looking, majestic sounding, all valve (3xECC83's, 1xGZ34, 2xKT66's) half stacks were made. The limited run for the U.S. market included a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity and a handbook in a plush leather folder. |
