KORG KARMA

Copying a program into the sequencer (with Effects)

Here is how to move a complete PROG (Program) on a KARMA Workstation into one track of the sequencer so that it sounds like it does when you play it in Program mode. These instructions will set up your track, with effects and GE's into the sequencer.

This is a four-step process.

While in SEQ mode, choose a track and:

  1. Select the desired program.
  2. Press the MENU button, go to the Insert Effects (IFX) page and press the F8 key. Copy the desired insert effects. (Or just check the "ALL" checkbox) Make sure you're copying the effects from the correct program.
  3. Press the MENU button, go to the Master Effects (MFX) page and use the F8 "copy" command.
  4. From the MENU button, go to the KARM page and use the F8 "Copy Karma Module" command to get the GE and check off the RT controls if you want them.

Congratulations!

You have just moved a Karma Program, including effects and KARMA GE's into the sequencer.

This is done automatically in Version 2.0 software (free)
