C320 Concert Piano

Offering a heightened level of realism and feel, the C-320 feature Korg's proprietary Piano experience & trade technology which employs the latest stereo multi-level dynamic sampling techniques to convey the natural imaging and nuances of a concert grand piano. The C320's PCM fully captures the complete dynamic range of the original instrument and employs Korg's new ultra-responsive RH3 real weighted graded keyboard action. The keys are progressively lighter toward the upper end of the keyboard, faithfully reproducing the touch of an acoustic piano. Adjustable velocity curves (three levels) allow players to tailor the action to their own playing style.

The C320 offers a variety of sounds including multiple acoustic pianos, harpsichord and clavinets, organ, electric piano and dozens of other instruments. The C-320 offers 30 sounds. C520 Concert Piano

The C-520 adds the sound of the key being released and the hammer returning, as well as the sympathetic damper resonance of the strings. Adjustable velocity curves (seven levels) allow players to tailor the action to their own playing style and also includes a fixed level setting for an authentic harpsichord and organ feel. New waveforms from OASYS included in all new engine.

The C-520 has a USB port for direct connection to a computer, as well as an Audio In jack for running an external audio device (CD player or electronic musical instrument) through its built-in speakers. Additionally, the C-520 includes a two-track recorder (45,000 notes) and an enhanced metronome featuring realistic drum patterns.

The C-520 features four speakers housed in an internal bass reflex chamber, powered by two 35 Watt amplifiers. The C-520 includes a 16-character backlit LCD display as well.

Key off sampling
String resonance realism: In C-520 you can hit the key then press the pedal and the string resonance will apply like in a traditional piano.
Damper on/off noise: The C520 has added the real sampled sounds of the damper pedal adding a new level of realism.
Completing the pedal section is the half pedaling for both Damper and Soft pedals.
New RH3 keybed
The Performance functionality allows you to save for easy recall every parameter of sound (whether in single, layer or split modes).
Piano Lesson function: 185 classical compositions are “built in” to the C520. They are divided into 5 folders: Song Book – songs also available in paper format, Popular, Beyer studies A and B, Burgmuller studies. All songs are written with separate hands (Part 1 – left hand, Part 2 – right hand) so that the student can practice along with, also slowing down the tempo or putting a cycle to take care of a difficult passage.
A fresh new set of sounds (some of them taken from Oasys and Pa1X) is available. We are very proud of the new electric piano, harpsichord, clavinet, jazz and church organs, strings and choirs.
The Electric Piano, Vibes and organ sounds use two or three layers, and also feature RX noise (e.g. key off noise) such as in the Clav, Harpsichord and Percussive Organ.
Two master effects (Reverb and Chorus) are available. One insert FX (coming from Triton/Pa1X) is available for each track while in Single, Layer or Split mode. Choose from delay, rotary speaker, tremolo, phaser, eq, compressor etc to enhance your sound.
The metronome has a standard sound but can also be replaced by a drum pattern, to have a more live feeling. The drum pattern can also be recorded using the internal sequencer so that a complete song can be realized internally.
Ten different temperaments are available.. A Quarter tone function is also available for the needs of musicians performing Middle Eastern music.
The USB connector allows for Midi connection replacing the traditional In and Out with a single cable – compatible with Mac and PC (the latter with a provided driver). The USB connections allows Mass Storage connection for exchanging data (Standard Midi files, performances, global).
