Analog modeling synthesizer

Provides the same dual-oscillator DSP synthesis engine as the critically acclaimed KORG MS-2000.

Largest selection of waveforms in any modeling synth currently available

71 waveforms including traditional analog waves like saw, pulse, sine and noise, as well as new choices like Vox wave and Cross wave. There are also 64 exclusive DWGS waveforms from Korg’s legendary DW8000.

Multi-band Vocoder with a built-in Mic

Includes an 8-band Vocoder with advanced features like formant “freezing” and shifting, to capture your voice formants and trigger them from the keyboard.

Compact and portable

At less than 7 pounds, with a 37 key velocity-sensitive mini-keyboard, the microKORG is at home on stage with musicians, DJs and computer MIDI systems. It’s even battery-powered.

Multi-mode resonant filters

Four filter modes available, including –12dB (2-pole) low pass, hi pass and band pass configurations plus an extra steep –24dB (4-pole) low pass setting.

Classic analog synth parameters and control – programming and performance unheard of at this price!

Two classic ADSR Envelope Generators and two MIDI-syncable LFOs provide the power to shape your sounds. The 4-part Virtual Patch matrix lets you route, modulate and control your sound like never before.

128 fully-editable Programs, and expressive controllers

The microKORG comes loaded with sounds covering the latest music styles plus many vintage favorites. 16 Vocoder programs are included, and the Pitch and Mod wheels, plus 5 other knobs give you plenty of realtime control! And all of the sounds are fully-editable.

Flexible arpeggiator

Six types of arpeggiator patterns are built in, with control over tempo, gate time, swing, and up to a 4-octave range. You can even turn individual steps on or off within a pattern, providing feel and functionality not unlike a traditional step sequencer.

Audio Input for external processing

Two external audio input jacks are provided for processing external instruments, CDs, etc. through the microKORG’s filter and effects.

A full range of programmable effects

Three types of mod effects, including chorus/flanger, phaser, ensemble, plus three types of delay effects (stereo, cross, L/R) and 2-band EQ. The delay can be synced with the arpeggiator or external clock

Mighty as a MIDI controller

The microKORG’s five realtime front panel knobs, wheels and keys transmit MIDI control change messages to external synths and sequencers

Clear control and classic looks

All parameters are on the front panel for easy viewing and access to functions. And the retro-influenced design gives the microKORG a look that’s both vintage and funky!
