Using your new PXR4 Recordings

After you have made a recording with your PXR4 you have some choices of how to play it. The files you created are in MP2 format which is compressed in order to conserve the space on the SmartMedia card.

1. Connect the line output to a stereo (power speaker) so that other people can hear your recording.

2. Plug in headphones to listen to the recording.

3. Transfer the file (s) to a computer to:

    A) Save them (archive) on your hard drive or CD

    B) Play them on the computer: Double click (PC) on the file and it should play in

whatever media player is installed on your computer.

    C) E-mail them or post them to a web site.

    D) Convert them to WAV files (to make an audio CD)
